How has your day been? It has been a WHILE since I did a review on here haha so that's what I'll be doing today! Today's post is going to be my genuine review of the super popular Wet n Wild photo focus setting spray that I have been trying out over the past few months! So let's get right to it!
What Wet N Wild claims..
Lights, camera, action! This exclusive formula extends makeup wear by preventing cracking, smudging, fading, or creasing. Works with any makeup and all skin types, plus it has aloe to hydrate your skin. One step, perfect!
Price, Packaging and Quantity..
You get 45mls of product for $4.99-$5.99 depending on where you purchase it. Even though I initially felt that 45mls is such little product, especially for a setting spray, I saw the price tag and somehow that justified it. The spray comes in a white plastic bottle with a clear grey lid that shuts securely, making this great to travel with.
My thoughts..
I purchased this spray a few months ago after reading some rave reviews about it and the affordable price tag just made me want to try it more. The spray has a slight, almost alcohol like smell that wears off in about 10 minutes. The sprayer/mister on this is not my favourite as it sprays out a lot of product, very aggressively and quickly. Below, you can see my sad attempts at trying to capture the spray but sadly, it was too fast, even for my camera!
Speaking of the product itself, Wet n Wild claims that it will extend the wear of your makeup, hydrate your skin and is suitable for all skin types. I have oily to sometimes normal skin and sadly this spray did nothing but make my face greasy. After I did my makeup, I tried using the spray and I noticed that it actually causes my makeup to move around more, especially the contour and we all hate a muddy contour!!
It did however make my skin look like skin and got rid of the powdery look that I ended up with one day because I was distracted on my phone while doing my makeup, which leads me to believe it would be a great setting spray for anyone with dryer skin types or even if you are someone who likes to PACK THAT POWDER ON!

Cruelty free
Affordable
Gets rid of powdery residue
Cons..
Made my face greasy
Did not make the makeup last longer
Sprayer/mister sprays too much product all at once
Would I recommend this?
I would recommend this for anyone with dry skin or if you're into heavily powdering your face and then using a setting spray or even if you have been dying to give it a shot really. It is just $4.99 and you might just end up loving it even though I didn't! I guess my hunt for the perfect setting spray shall continue and meanwhile, I'll be using my hairspray.
