How has your day been? SO! I am super excited to share today's tutorial with you because I had so much fun creating it! It was my first time ever using loose glitter in a look and I'm quite pleased with how it turned out! So let's get started on this classic, glittery, perfect holiday makeup look that you can create in JUST 8 STEPS!

Classic Glam Holiday Makeup Tutorial ft. lots of Glitter

Here's what you'll need:

1. Matte pink eyeshadow
2. Deep purple/burgundy matte shadow 
3. Glitter primer/glue/liquid lipstick
4. Gold/champagne/white Glitter
5. Eyeliner(liquid/gel)
6. Nude/white pencil liner
7. Mascara
8. Falsies

Step 1
After priming your eyelids, blend the matte pink eyeshadow into your crease and a little above it.

Step 2
Next, blend the deep matte purple/burgundy or any deep matte eyeshadow into the outer  half of your eyes using small circular motions.

Step 3
Blend in the same pink eyeshadow we used in the crease onto the inner half of your eyelids and then pat on some glitter primer/glue all over your mobile eyelids to get the glitter to adhere.

I however, used.. a LIQUID LIPSTICK AS MY BASE! And guess what? It worked guys!!
(Quick Storytime: I watched a few beauty gurus on youtube use liquid lipsticks as their base for glitter and I have been wanting to try that hack out for a while now. But I had placed an order for glitter glue last month because I knew I wanted to create glittery holiday looks and at the time I created this tutorial, I still hadn't received it, so I decided to just use a liquid lipstick and pat and blend it on my mobile eyelid and then pat the glitter over top.)

Step 4
Anyways, whether you used a glitter primer or decided to use a liquid lipstick like I did, the fourth step haha is to just pat and press the glitter onto your eyelids. I had glitter falling all over my face but YOU KNOW WHAT? I LOVED IT! Excuse my enthusiasm guys! I always go a little crazy when I'm around glitter! Whether that's cosmetic glitter or crafts glitter haha!

Step 5
The glitter I used was the Violet Voss glitter in Sandy and it's a pale gold/champagne shade. But since it got slightly mixed in with the coloured base, it looks pink. So I used the same glitter on the inner corners of  my eyes and blended it into the glitter on my eyelids. You can use a light glitter shade for this step or even a bright shimmery shadow will work beautifully in the inner corners.

Step 6
Blend in the same dark shadow you used in step 2, all along your lower lashline.

Step 7
Do some winged liner, curl your lashes and apply mascara. I also decided to go in with a nude pencil liner in my lower waterline to brighten it up.

Step 8
Finally, pop on a nice pair of falsies to amp up the glam level and add a great finishing touch to your look! You can definitely rock this look without the lashes too, if you're not a fan of them! And you're done loves! Scroll down for the products used list and Pictorial!
