Gradient Green Shimmery Smokey Eyes Tutorial

5:07 AM

Hey my loves!
How has your day been so far? Today's tutorial is going to be on this shimmery, super dramatic green eyeshadow look that's especially pretty on brown eyes! When I created this look, I was feeling quite artsy and messy almost and there was quite a bit of cleaning up involved afterwards so as always I suggest you do your eyes first when you're attempting a more dramatic eyeshadow look where you might experience fallout. Now let's get right to it!

Here's what you'll need:
  1. Matte warm brown eyeshadow
  2. Black eyeshadow primer/creamy black pencil liner
  3. Shimmery medium green eyeshadow
  4. Shimmery taupe eyeshadow
  5. Shimmery champagne/white eyeshadow
  6. Matte black eyeshadow
  7. Black pencil liner
  8. Eyeliner(liquid/gel)
  9. Mascara
  10. Falsies(optional)
Step 1
Blend in the matte brown shadow into your crease and a little above it. This will serve as our transition shade.

Step 2
Pack and blend the black eyeshadow primer all over your mobile eyelids. You can use a creamy black pencil for this step if you don't own a black eyeshadow primer.

Step 3
Pack the shimmery green shadow all over your mobile eyelids, on all the areas where we used the black primer.

Step 4
Pat the shimmery taupe shade into the inner half of your eyelids, blending it into the green we previously applied.

Step 5
Apply the shimmery white/champagne shadow into the inner corners of your eyes and blend into the taupe we just used.

Step 6
Blend the matte black shadow into the outer 1/3rd of your eyelids in a c shape and slightly into the green.

Step 7
Heavily apply a black pencil liner onto your lower waterline and blend it out into your lower lashline.

Step 8
Using the same matte brown we used in step 1, blur and blend the black liner we just applied.

Step 9
At this point, I was done with all the shadow application and realized there was black eyeshadow fallout all the way down on my cheeks haha so I cleaned everything up with a makeup wipe and then applied foundation, following the angle of my lower lashline, towards the tail of my brows.

Then, carefully blend this line out.

Step 10
Do your liner, curl the lashes and apply mascara. Sadly I forgot to snap a photo of this step.
