How has your week been? So today I created this super pretty gold and glittery smokey eye look with prom in mind but you can recreate it for any event really. It also photographs like a dream, which is always a good thing! So let's get started!

Perfect Prom Makeup Tutorial : Glittery Gold Smokey Eyes

Here's what you'll need:

1. Matte warm brown eyeshadow
2. Shimmery gold eyeshadow
3. Matte black eyeshadow
4. Gold glitter
5. Eyeliner(liquid/gel)
6. Mascara
7. Falsies

Step 1
After priming your lids, blend the warm brown eyeshadow into your crease and a little above it.

Step 2
Apply the shimmery gold eyeshadow all over your mobile eyelids and blend out the edges into the brown in the crease.

Step 3
Apply a small amount of black eyeshadow to the outer half of your eyelids using a fluffy brush, kinda like you would when you are trying to create a wing and then blend it out as shown below.

Step 4
Apply the same gold shadow we used on the lid, in the inner corner.

Step 5
Blend the warm brown eyeshadow all along your lower lashline for some added definition.

Step 6
Now comes the fun part!! Apply some glitter glue to the center of your eyelids and slowly pat the glitter on, layer by layer and pack it on until you are happy with the intensity.

Step 7
Do your winged liner and apply mascara.

Step 8
Pop on a nice pair of fluffy lashes, I used the House of lashes featherette lashes, I feel like the Ardell wispies would look amazing with this look too! And you're done loves!! Scroll down for the full pictorial and products used list!
