How has your week been? My week has been quite packed and busy but I am super excited to share this tutorial with you for several reasons! One, I've been wanting to do a shimmery orange look for quite a few months now. Two, I absolutely love how it turned out and will be recreating this look for any upcoming events and three! Vickylashes was kind enough to send me some of their lashes to try out and I decided to use their 'Becca' lashes in today's look! So let's get started!

Shimmery Orange Smokey Eyes Tutorial

Here's what you'll need:

1. Shimmery orange eyeshadow
2. Shimmery white/champagne eyeshadow 
3. Matte orange eyeshadow
4. Matte warm brown eyeshadow
5. Matte deep taupe/dark brown eyeshadow
6. Eyeliner
7. Mascara
8. Falsies(optional)

Step 1
After priming your eyelids, blend the warm brown eyeshadow into your crease and a little above it.

Step 2
You can skip this step if you have a vibrant shimmery orange shadow but I felt like the orange shadow I wanted to use for this look wasn't vibrant and orange enough. So I blended a matte bright orange shade all over the mobile eyelids and slightly into the crease.

Step 3
Pat and apply the shimmery orange eyeshadow all over your mobile eyelids and blend the edges out into the warm brown eyeshadow in the crease.

Step 4
Next, blend the deep taupe eyeshadow into the outer half of your eyelids in a c-shape, slightly into the crease and also into the shimmery orange we just applied.

Step 5
Blend the matte orange eyeshadow all along your lower lashline. I kind of got it in my waterline by accident but decided to leave it like that because I like the effect it created haha.

Step 6
Pick up a small amount of the taupe eyeshadow on a small detail brush and blend it along your lower lashline, over the orange but keep the colour closer to the lashes. Then pop the shimmery white/champagne shadow into the inner corners of your eyes and blend it out.

Step 7
Do your winged liner, curl your lashes and apply mascara.

Step 8
Finally, apply a nice wispy pair of falsies and you're done loves! Scroll down for the full pictorial, products used list and extra shots of this look!
