Shimmery Gold Green Smokey Eyes with Pops of Colour Tutorial (Fall Makeup Part 1)

9:04 AM

Hey my loves,
HOW is everyone doing?? I feel like I haven't posted a tutorial in weeks! So I'm here with a brand new one today! It's a gorgeous Fall inspired look that is a lot, LOT easier to recreate than it looks! So let's get right to it!

Fall inspired makeup 2017

What you'll need:
  • Matte medium green eyeshadow
  • Matte dark green eyeshadow
  • Shimmery gold eyeshadow
  • Burgundy liner/super pigmented eyeshadow/liquid lipstick
  • Shimmery light blue eyeshadow
  • Mascara
Step 1
Blend the medium green eyeshadow all over your mobile eyelids, into your crease and a little above it.

Step 2
Blend the deep green eyeshadow into the outer half of your eyelids and slightly into your crease.(you can mix some black eyeshadow with the medium green eyeshadow to get the deep green eyeshadow, if you don't own a deep green shadow/can't seem to find one this deep)

Step 3
Pat and apply the shimmery gold eyeshadow into the inner half of your mobile eyelids. Then blend the deep green we previously applied, into the gold.

Step 4
Blend the same matte dark green eyeshadow into your lower lashline.

Step 5
Apply the shimmery blue eyeshadow into the inner corners of your eyes and blend it slightly into the gold shadow on the eyelids and green eyeshadow on the lower lashline.

Step 6
Curl your lashes and apply mascara. You can stop this look here and it looks gorgeous but I decided to add that burgundy liner to further add character and depth to this look.

Step 7
Believe it or not guys, I used eyeshadow as eyeliner! That burgundy/maroon liner you see in the images below is just a morphe eyeshadow that I used with a damp, stiff, angled brush. You can even use liquid lipstick as eyeliner!

Step 8(optional)
Line your upper inner rim with a black waterproof pencil liner. I know this step is quite scary but if you open your eyes real wide, tilt your head back and look down into the mirror as you do this, you won't accidentally stab yourself in the eye! You can't see that much of a difference in these pictures but in person, it gives the illusion of a much fuller lashline and adds a great finishing touch to any look.

And you're done guys!!! Scroll down for a full list of all the products I used and also a pictorial!

*I have tagged the morphe 35b palette here because the 35c seems to be out of stock on the morphe website. 35c is an all matte palette and 35b is a mix of mattes and shimmers.
