Easy Beginner friendly Everyday Smokey Eyes Tutorial (just 5 steps)

Hey my loves!
Oh wow I have missed this! I took the entire week off last week because I was feeling so tired! Physically and mentally. But I'm so glad I took that break because now I'm all inspired and motivated. Today I wanted to create a really easy look suitable to wear to work, interviews or if you skip the liner and just do mascara, it may even be quick enough for school! So let's get started!!

Everyday easy Smokey Eyes : The veiled artist

What you'll need:

  • Medium taupe/brown shadow
  • Dark taupe/brown eyeshadow
  • Champagne shimmery shadow
  • Eyeliner
  • Mascara
Tutorial:
Step 1
Prime your eyelids to make this look last all day. I recommend the LA Girl pro eyeshadow primers! They each cost $2 and are so worth the price. But you can even use your foundation and set it with powder!
Step 2
Apply a medium taupe shade to the outer half of your eyelids and blend it into a v shape. Blend the same eyeshadow shade into your crease. (We are using this medium shade to make blending the next dark shade easier)

Step 3
Apply the dark taupe or dark brown shade directly over the eyeshadow we used in the previous step and blend it out. In the outer V of your eyes and also into the crease.

Step 4
Pat that champagne shimmer eyeshadow into the inner half of your eyelids. Shimmer shadows are best applied with finger tips as this brings out the maximum pigmentation of the eyeshadow.

Step 5
You can finish this look off by curling your lashes and applying a few coats of mascara, but I also added some winged liner for extra definition! And you're done!!

Step 6(optional)
If you want to make your eyes look more open and awake, you can try a nude or white pencil liner in your lower waterline like I have below! Just make sure if you are using a pigmented white liner instead of nude, to use a light hand or it can look a little too stark.
