Maybe try out more complexion products and eyeshadows! I have swatched everything on the back of my hand but I've not had the time to actually play with any of the products yet. So when I do, I'm definitely going to write a nice detailed review for you guys!!

Random Beauty Haul ft Laura Mercier, MAC & more

Hey my loves!

How has your week been? Mine has been, well, I need to write a post about it soon. Anyways, speaking of happier things, I have a new haul post for you guys today! I made a few exciting purchases last month and in May and I finally received a few of them so keep reading to see what I got!

Random Beauty Haul ft Laura Mercier, MAC & more: The Veiled Artist

Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-IN-1 Foundation in shades TAN and Sand

milani conceal and perfect foundation

I've been meaning to get this foundation for many months now because my trusty Revlon colorstay foundation in shade Toast started oxidizing/looking too dark and red on my face.

milani foundation

It took me the longest time to decide on which shade to get from the Conceal n Perfect range because I have one of those annoying in between skintones that is so so hard to match. So I decided to get two different shades and let me tell you, it's the best decision I've ever made in terms of foundation!!

MAC Satin Lipstick in Twig

mac cosmetics

mac lipstick in shade Twig

This is a random purchase haha because I literally got it just to see what the hype about MAC lipsticks are. The shade I chose was Twig and on me, it is a nice everyday mauve shade.

Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer

laura mercier foundation primer in oil free

I believe Laura Mercier recently changed up the packaging of this primer, a few weeks after I purchased this one with the older packaging(my luck tho right? haha). But I'm excited to test this primer out and see how it helps my makeup. I've never really been a 'primer person' and I just focus on setting my makeup well and this method has worked well for me for years but I just thought, why not huh! Maybe this will save my life when I'm trying out foundations with lesser coverage or foundations that want to melt away in warm weather.

RCMA No Colour Powder

rcma no colour powder

This is a product that everyone and their makeup artists were raving about and I finally decided to purchase one myself, so that I can see what the hype is and review it for you guys as well! It has been getting increasingly hot and humid here in Sri Lanka and I'm always looking for products that will help keep my skin matte.

Yes to Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Cleanser

drugstore charcoal cleanser

I ran out of my absolute favourite Biore Charcoal cleanser this month and couldn't purchase it on ebay(which is where I usually get it) because for some reason, it cost way too much. It actually only costs $7.99 but I was paying $16 per bottle, shipping included.

Yes to tomatoes

But this time, it cost around $30 and I was like byeeee haha. That's way too much money for a cleanser in my opinion but since my skin usually loves charcoal and only charcoal, I decided to give this a shot.

Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentré Nourishing Moisturiser

Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentré Nourishing Moisturiser

I have oily to normal skin and I don't really mosturize everyday because I feel like my skin doesn't really need it. But that doesn't mean I don't ENJOY moisturizing haha, is that weird? I can't be the only one! I enjoy cleansing my face at night and slapping on a thick moisturizer and find it very relaxing. So I got this super popular product that celebrities and makeup artists seem to love. It works great as a moisturizer, makeup base, a face mask and even a makeup remover!

best moisturizer for all skin types

Thank you so much for reading my loves! I will be reviewing every single product from this haul once I have tried them out for at least a good month! You can check my last post here. It was actually a tutorial on a gorgeous shimmery, burgundy double cut crease look!
Have a great day and take care my loves!

Quick Essence Makeup Haul

Hey my loves!
How has your day been? Today I wanted to share my little essence makeup haul with you guys and show you what I got. If you have been following this page for a while, you may have noticed that I have been using the Essence Cosmetics Waterproof Ink Liner ever since I started this page and I'm currently on my third tube/bottle of that stuff so I have been wanting to try some more of their products for quite some time now and when I saw that they sell Essence in Sri Lanka, I lost my shh.. you know what haha. So let's get started!

essence cosmetics haul

Lash Princess False Lash Mascara
I got this mascara after seeing many rave reviews about it and after using it a few times, lemme tell you, it is The Best Mascara I have used so far!! Stay tuned for my full review on it after a month of using it.

essence cosmetics lash princess mascara

Velvet Stick Matte Lip Color
I am forever on the hunt for 'my perfect nude' and I am forever failing as well. This shade '02 Peony Star' that I picked, sadly turned out to be a fail and gives me the horrid foundation lips look, though, it's a gorgeous shade for someone with light to light medium skin tones. I must add, it smells like crayons haha!

essence cosmetics velvet lip color

Lash Brow Gel Mascara
I ran out of my elf brow and lash mascara about a month ago and have been looking for a brow gel since, because I have a lot of brow haha. So far I don't really know how I feel about this product because it doesn't seem to be doing anything but then again, that's how I felt about the elf brow gel too before I fell in love with it.

essence cosmetics brow gel

Kajal Pencil in Feel the Mari-time
This was just a random purchase. It was colourful, grabbed my attention, I grabbed IT. haha. I have not used it on my eyeballs yet, specifically my waterline but it swatched nicely on the back of my hand.

essence cosmetics kajal pencil

Eyeliner Pen Waterproof
This is the first eyeliner 'pen' that I am using and I don't know if there is a bit of a learning curve here or if the tip of this eyeliner is too stiff but I have not been loving it so far. It is DEFINITELY waterproof though!

essence cosmetics eyeliner pen waterproof

That's all I got loves! I badly wanted to try out the essence satin blush and the fixing powder as well but I seemed to have blacked out, out of the sheer joy of finding an entire display of essence that I only remembered these two while I was on my way home:/ Anyways! I hope you enjoyed this haul and I will be doing a full review on each of the items after I have fully tried them out. You can check my last post here. It was a tutorial on gorgeous purple spotlight smokey eyes!
Have a great day and take care my loves!
