Heyy my loves!
How has your day been? I've been seeing so many people on social media and youtube rocking a deep grungy burgundy smokey eye look and I have been wearing it quite often in my everyday life too! But I felt like today I wanted to recreate this super popular look with a slight touch of something! Maybe a blinding pop of yellow haha! So let's get started! Ooh! One more thing! I recommend you do this eyeshadow look before you do your face makeup, because we're playing with some dark shadows and it's easier to clean any eyeshadow fallout that way.

Fourth of July Inspired Blue and Red Smokey Eyes Tutorial(beginner friendly)
Hey everyone!
I'm here today with a tutorial on this super bright blue and red smokey eyes. A few days before I created this look, I really wanted to do a look just featuring the shades blue and red and I am only now noticing, as I am typing this post that it was the fourth of july when I actually made the tutorial! I subconsciously created a look perfectly suited to the colours of that day haha! So let's get started!

Hey my loves,
How have you guys beeen? I have been sick for an entire week with a cold, cough, fever, the whole package! Which is why I have been M.I.A here. But I am FINALLY feeling better and I'm here today with a new look! Today's tutorial is going to be on this gorgeous matte sunset inspired ombre smokey eyes!
All the steps in this look are super simple, but you need to go crazy with the blending. Since we're working with bright, all matte shadows, taking the time to blend is so important to make all these bright shadows look seamless and like they're melting into one another! So, let's get started!
What you'll need..
After priming your eyelids, blend the matte orange eyeshadow into your crease and a little above it.
Step 2
Blend the matte red eyeshadow directly into your crease and onto the outer half of your eyelids.
Step 3
Apply and blend the same matte orange eyeshadow we applied into the crease, onto the inner half of your eyelids, blending it into the red we previously applied.
Step 4
Blend the deep taupe shade into the outer half of your lids.
Step 5
Pop that matte yellow eyeshadow into the inner corner of your eyes. I love how this adds life to the look!
Step 6
Messily apply the creamy black pencil on your lower lashline and then using the matte red eyeshadow, blend and blur this out.
Step 7
Apply your winged liner and then give those lashes a curl and coating of mascara. You can stop here, but I really love adding lashes to bright looks because I feel like they add a great finishing touch!
Step 8
So finally, pop on a pair of falsies and you're DONE!!
Step 9(optional)
After creating the full look I was messing around and decided to add some glitter to my lids and I loved how it looked!

Hey guys!
How has your day been? Today's post is going to be a tutorial on this super shimmery pink and purple smokey eyes. I suggest you do your eye makeup before your foundation because we're working with very bright eyeshadows, we may experience some fallout. Also, I decided to fully skip liner for this look and let the lashes do the talking. So let's get started!

Smokey Eyes To Wear With Glasses + makeup tips on how to make your eyes appear larger
Hey guys!
So I was looking for blog post and tutorial ideas and my dear friend requested I create a look for those of us who wear glasses and I was like YAAS! That's such a great idea! I wear glasses myself and I've definitely noticed how it sometimes makes the eyes look much smaller than they actually are! Which is why I love wearing contacts to things like events because it just makes the makeup side of things a lot easier. That being said, I definitely still wear my glasses quite a bit and follow some or sometimes all of the steps I've listed below to make my eyes appear brighter and wider.
What you'll need:
Tutorial
Step 1
Blend the matte brown eyeshadow into your crease.
Tip: Adding a deep brown/taupe-ish contour eyeshadow shade will add depth to your eyelids and in turn make it look bigger.
Step 2
Apply the bright shimmery pink eyeshadow all over your mobile eyelids and blend it into the brown.
Tip: Adding a bright eyeshadow on your eyelids will brighten them and make them look wider and bigger.
Step 3
Pat the shimmery champagne shade into the inner corner of your eyes and blend it into the pink eyeshadow we previously applied. You can use a white eyeshadow for this step if you have a paler skin tone or a more yellow toned gold shimmery eyeshadow if you have a deeper skin tone. <3
Tip: This step also brightens and widens the eyes because glasses can sometimes make your eyes look more close set than they actually are.
Step 4
Blend the same matte brown eyeshadow we previously used, on your lower lashline.
Tip: This creates the look of a shadow just under your eyes and in turn makes your eyes appear bigger. But make sure not to blend it too far down onto your face because this can make you look tired.
Step 5
Line your lower waterline with a nude or white pencil. If you use a white pencil, make sure to blend it out with your finger to make sure it doesn't look too stark and unnatural.
Step 6(defining)
Apply winged eyeliner. Then curl your lashes and apply mascara.
Tip: Curling your eyelashes help so much with opening your eyes. The liner and mascara helps add back that definition that is sometimes lost when wearing glasses.
And that's it my loves! You can even pop on a nice natural pair of falsies like the ardell wispies if you like!
Pictorial!!
I hope you enjoyed this post and if you wear glasses, I hope you found it helpful and informative! You can check my last post here. It was tutorial on the beautiful selena gomez inspired brown smokey eyes.
Have a great day/night and take care!

How are you doing? Today I created a tutorial inspired by the makeup the gorgeous Selena Gomez wears when she's not rocking a super dramatic or a super colourful and bright look. I've been looking at a lot of pictures and this is what it looked like she had on her eyes so let's get started!

| Selena Gomez Inspired Brown Smokey Eyes Tutorial(super easy) |
Hey everyone!
How has your day been so far? Today's post is going to be a tutorial on this super glam eyeshadow look! I was trying out the Loreal Infallible eyeshadow in gilded envy for this look and I have quite a few thoughts! Definitely expect a review of it coming up on my blog. Also, I finally got my hands on a pair of the much hyped hudabeauty lashes as well, thanks to my sweet cousin who gifted them to me! So let's get started!
What you'll need:
After priming your eyelids, blend the warm matte brown eyeshadow into your crease. This will be our transition shade.
Step 2
Carefully pat the the shimmery antique gold shadow onto your mobile eyelids.
Step 3
Blend the edges of the shimmery shadow using the burgundy eyeshadow, blending it into your crease.(use a light hand and don't apply this too dark)
Step 4
Blend the matte black shadow into the outer v of your eyes. You can use a dark taupe or dark brown shade if you have very light skin or if you're afraid of black eyeshadow and think it's hard to blend. Just make sure to add light layers of eyeshadow to build up the colour, blending and diffusing in between each step.
Step 5
Blend the deep burgundy shade we used previously onto your lower lashline.
Step 6
Do your eyeliner. I prefer winged liner especially when I plan on wearing false lashes. I feel like that's what looks best with any type or shape of lashes. Then curl your lashes and apply mascara.
Step 7
Next, using your fingers, carefully apply the shimmery champagne shade onto the inner corners of your eyes and blend it slightly into the shadows on the eyelid and lower lashline.
Step 8
And final step! POP on those falsies and you're done!! I absolutely love how this turned out! And I'm especially in love with the huda lashes in Jade.
Pictorial!
I really hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial and recreate it! If you do, and post it on social media, definitely tag me @theveiledartist on instagram, twitter or facebook. I would love to see your work. You can check my last tutorial here. It was a tutorial on Red and Gold Halo Smokey Eyes with Dramatic Arabic winged liner and leave any eyeshadow tutorial suggestions in the comments below!
I hope you have a great day!
Take care,

Hey my loves!
How has your day been? I have been procrastinating all day trying to type this post haha not gonna lie but anyways today I created this gorgeous, smokey, sultry deep purple smokey eyes! It is a lot easier to recreate than it looks so let's get started! But! A quick reminder! Since the shadows are so pigmented and dark, I recommend doing your eye makeup before your skin so you can just wipe the fallout, if there is any, with a makeup wipe and continue with your face makeup!

Heyyy my loves!
How has your day been? It is currently 11.57pm here in Sri Lanka and suddenly I have more energy than I've had all day today! Today's post is going to be a tutorial on this gorgeous gunmetal smokey eyes! I know.. I know it looks blue haha I am well aware but that's because my eyeshadow was so shimmery and reflective, it was reflecting the colour of the wall in front of me haha. In case you're interested in crazy shine, the eyeshadow was from the la colours smokin' palette. Before we get started, I suggest you do your eye makeup first if you try this look out. Since we may have some fallout from all dark eyeshadows we are using.

Hello everybody!!
I fiiinally created a tutorial! I've been waiting to create a Sunset Inspired look for almost a week now! But the weather has been crazy unpredictable in Sri Lanka. It would be really hot and bright and then 10 minutes later the light would be cool toned so the struggle has been real since I work with natural lighting. Anyways! I hope you enjoy the tutorial:)

Hey guys!
I'm here today with a tutorial on this gorgeous emerald green smokey eyes with a pop of royal blue on the lower waterline.
Here's what you'll need:
Step 1
Blend the green matte eyeshadow into the crease and into the outer v of your eyes. This will be our transition shade.
Step 2
Apply the gorgeous shimmery emerald green eyeshadow onto your mobile eyelids and blend the edges out into the matte green eyeshadow we first applied. (tip: Shimmer shadows are best applied with finger tips for maximum pigmentation)
Step 3
Line your lower waterline with the black eyeliner pencil.
Step 4
Also, add some black liner under your lower lashline and smudge it out.
Step 5
Blend the blue eyeshadow over the areas we smudged the black pencil eyeliner.
Step 6
Line your upper lashline with the black pencil eyeliner and smudge it out with your fingers or a pencil brush. Extend this line and join it with the blue from the lower lash line.
Step 7
Curl your lashes and apply mascara. I added a pair of falsies as well! And you're done!
Pictorial!
I hope you try this look out!
Take care everyone!
