Hey my loves!
How has your week been? God I haven't written here in so long, everything feels so foreign haha! Anyways, I did a post updating all of you on why I have been missing in action, there's just so much going on in my life so please check it out here loves.
I actually created this fun spotlight look about a month ago and finally created the tutorial for it. So let's get started!!

Purple & Gold Spotlight Smokey Eyes Tutorial: The Veiled Artist
Here's what you'll need:
  1. Tape
  2. Matte Warm Brown Eyeshadow
  3. Matte Purple Eyeshadow
  4. Shimmery Gold Eyeshadow
  5. Concealer/primer to create spotlight
  6. Matte Black Eyeshadow
  7. Nude/white pencil liner
  8. Eyeliner(liquid/gel)
  9. Mascara
  10. Falsies
Step 1
Stick a piece of tape a few millimeters below your lower lashline and place it angled from your lower lashline towards the tail of your brows.

Step 2
After priming your lids, blend the warm matte brown shadow into your crease and a little above it.

Step 3
Blend the matte purple eyeshadow all over your mobile eyelids and into the brown we just applied in the crease as well. If you're having trouble with making the purple shadow look more blended in the crease area, you can pick up some more brown shadow and blend it in the crease again, and go back and forth until you're happy with the way everything looks.

Step 4
Blend a light layer of the matte black eyeshadow into the outer one thirds of your eyelids. I was having a particularly hard time blending the black and purple shadows for this look and I had no idea why, everything was applying quite patchy.

Step 5
Using a small flat brush, apply the primer or concealer to the center of the eyelids all the way from the crease as shown below to create the base for the spotlight.

Step 6
You can set the concealer with some powder and then apply the gold eyeshadow over it.

Step 7
Blend the edges of the gold eyeshadow out into the purple on both sides and now remove the tape.

Step 9
Blend the same purple shadow we used all over the lid all along your lower lashline and then pat the gold shimmery eyeshadow into the inner corners of your eyes, blending it into the purple on the eyelids and on the lower lashline.
