How has your week been? I've been celebrating Eid all weekend and I can't believe Ramadan is already over! Now it's 'back to work' Monday and I am NOT excited about it haha. Anyways! Speaking of more positive things, I am so excited to share today's tutorial on this bright yellow ombre smokey eye look so let's get started!

Yellow Ombre Matte Smokey Eyes Tutorial(beginner friendly): The Veiled Artist

Here's what you'll need:

1. Matte warm brown eyeshadow
2. Matte Yellow eyeshadow
3. Matte black eyeshadow
4. Shimmery champagne/pale gold shadow
5. Bronze eyeshadow
6. Yellow pencil/gel liner(optional)
7. Black liner(liquid/gel)
8. Falsies

Step 1
Blend the warm brown eyeshadow into your crease and a little above it.

Step 2
Pat the matte yellow eyeshadow all over your mobile eyelid and blend the top edges into the brown in the crease. I had to take my time building up this yellow shadow because for some reason, all the yellow and white shadows I've tried so far just do not wanna show up with one swipe! haha am I alone in this?

Step 3
Apply the shimmery bronze shadow into the inner one thirds on your mobile eyelids and blend it slightly into the yellow shadow.

Step 4
Pat the shimmery pale gold eyeshadow into the inner corners of your eyes and blend it into the bronze.

Step 5
Blend the matte black eyeshadow into the outer one third of your eyelids and also blend it slightly into the brown in the crease and yellow on the eyelids.

Step 6
If you have a yellow pencil or gel liner, line your lower waterline with it. I didn't so I used some matte yellow morphe shadow on a damp brush and I'm so happy with how it turned out! Next, blend the same matte warm brown shadow we used in the crease, all along your lower lashline as shown below.

Step 7
Do your winged liner, curl your lashes and apply mascara.

Step 8
