Smokey Eyes To Wear With Glasses + makeup tips on how to make your eyes appear larger
Hey guys!
So I was looking for blog post and tutorial ideas and my dear friend requested I create a look for those of us who wear glasses and I was like YAAS! That's such a great idea! I wear glasses myself and I've definitely noticed how it sometimes makes the eyes look much smaller than they actually are! Which is why I love wearing contacts to things like events because it just makes the makeup side of things a lot easier. That being said, I definitely still wear my glasses quite a bit and follow some or sometimes all of the steps I've listed below to make my eyes appear brighter and wider.
What you'll need:
Tutorial
Step 1
Blend the matte brown eyeshadow into your crease.
Tip: Adding a deep brown/taupe-ish contour eyeshadow shade will add depth to your eyelids and in turn make it look bigger.
Step 2
Apply the bright shimmery pink eyeshadow all over your mobile eyelids and blend it into the brown.
Tip: Adding a bright eyeshadow on your eyelids will brighten them and make them look wider and bigger.
Step 3
Pat the shimmery champagne shade into the inner corner of your eyes and blend it into the pink eyeshadow we previously applied. You can use a white eyeshadow for this step if you have a paler skin tone or a more yellow toned gold shimmery eyeshadow if you have a deeper skin tone. <3
Tip: This step also brightens and widens the eyes because glasses can sometimes make your eyes look more close set than they actually are.
Step 4
Blend the same matte brown eyeshadow we previously used, on your lower lashline.
Tip: This creates the look of a shadow just under your eyes and in turn makes your eyes appear bigger. But make sure not to blend it too far down onto your face because this can make you look tired.
Step 5
Line your lower waterline with a nude or white pencil. If you use a white pencil, make sure to blend it out with your finger to make sure it doesn't look too stark and unnatural.
Step 6(defining)
Apply winged eyeliner. Then curl your lashes and apply mascara.
Tip: Curling your eyelashes help so much with opening your eyes. The liner and mascara helps add back that definition that is sometimes lost when wearing glasses.
And that's it my loves! You can even pop on a nice natural pair of falsies like the ardell wispies if you like!
Pictorial!!
I hope you enjoyed this post and if you wear glasses, I hope you found it helpful and informative! You can check my last post here. It was tutorial on the beautiful selena gomez inspired brown smokey eyes.
Have a great day/night and take care!

Hey my beauties!
How are you doing? Today I created a tutorial inspired by the makeup the gorgeous Selena Gomez wears when she's not rocking a super dramatic or a super colourful and bright look. I've been looking at a lot of pictures and this is what it looked like she had on her eyes so let's get started!

Selena Gomez Inspired Brown Smokey Eyes Tutorial(super easy) |
Hey everyone!
How has your day been so far? Today's post is going to be a tutorial on this super glam eyeshadow look! I was trying out the Loreal Infallible eyeshadow in gilded envy for this look and I have quite a few thoughts! Definitely expect a review of it coming up on my blog. Also, I finally got my hands on a pair of the much hyped hudabeauty lashes as well, thanks to my sweet cousin who gifted them to me! So let's get started!
What you'll need:
After priming your eyelids, blend the warm matte brown eyeshadow into your crease. This will be our transition shade.
Step 2
Carefully pat the the shimmery antique gold shadow onto your mobile eyelids.
Step 3
Blend the edges of the shimmery shadow using the burgundy eyeshadow, blending it into your crease.(use a light hand and don't apply this too dark)
Step 4
Blend the matte black shadow into the outer v of your eyes. You can use a dark taupe or dark brown shade if you have very light skin or if you're afraid of black eyeshadow and think it's hard to blend. Just make sure to add light layers of eyeshadow to build up the colour, blending and diffusing in between each step.
Step 5
Blend the deep burgundy shade we used previously onto your lower lashline.
Step 6
Do your eyeliner. I prefer winged liner especially when I plan on wearing false lashes. I feel like that's what looks best with any type or shape of lashes. Then curl your lashes and apply mascara.
Step 7
Next, using your fingers, carefully apply the shimmery champagne shade onto the inner corners of your eyes and blend it slightly into the shadows on the eyelid and lower lashline.
Step 8
And final step! POP on those falsies and you're done!! I absolutely love how this turned out! And I'm especially in love with the huda lashes in Jade.

I really hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial and recreate it! If you do, and post it on social media, definitely tag me @theveiledartist on instagram, twitter or facebook.
